50 Hz vs 60 Hz

Voltage: 230 V

All the appliances we deliver are produced to be used on a electrical connection of 230 V.

If your voltage is lower or higher it is very easy and not to expensive to transform it into the correct voltage by using a correct transformer from your local voltage (e.g. 127 Volt) to 230 Volt. The transformer must be able to deliver also the power you need. For a washing machine this is 2200 Watt or more. Best it is to choose a higher power level such as 2500 or 3000 Watt to prevent overheating of the transformer.

Frequency 50 or 60 Hz (cycles (Cy)?

All our appliances are produced to be used on a electrical connection of 50 Hz. If you have a electrical appliance you have to check if the appliance is produced to be used on a certain frequency. This frequency is very important and mentioned in the instruction for use of the appliance and on the appliance itself. Worldwide there are 2 options 50 Hz or 60 Hz.

If you are in a 60 Hz area you are not able to use 50 Hz appliances. If you are in a 50 Hz area you are not able to use 60 Hz appliances. This is for safety reasons. If you connect it on the wrong frequency the motor or transformer of the appliance can become overheated or even worse it can cause fire.

It is possible to transform from 60 Hz to 50 Hz vice versa but this is very expensive. To do this the costs will be higher then the costs of a new appliance.

Plugs

All over the world there are used different kind of plugs. Most of our products have a plug already on the appliance. It will be a "type F" plug. Please contact us if you want to know more about this.

Summary

All the appliances we deliver are produced for use on a 230 V ~ 50 Hz mains connection. If there is a plug already on the appliance it will be a "type F" plug. This plug can be different from yours but this is not a problem. Please contact us and we will instruct you how to change it.
